A shared swimming pool will keep you cooled off during those spicy summer months, while the community fire pit is perfect for quiet evenings toasting up tasty treats under the vast canopy of stars. Enjoy an outdoor barbeque while you observe native wildlife including but not limited to deer, turkeys, and even bald eagles. You’ll feel as though you’re on a camping trip right in the middle of the forest! When you’re ready to explore the surrounding area, you’ll be just a short 5-minute drive into Ogunquit, offering waterfront options for shopping and dining as well as the Ogunquit Playhouse, a regional theater offering a variety of entertaining musical shows. If you venture south toward York, the iconic Cape Neddick Nubble Lighthouse is just 15 minutes away, standing proudly atop a rocky outcrop and offering picture-perfect moments to capture the glittering sunrise or sunset. Historic York Harbor and York Corner provide options for discovering even more local treasures, while the nature lovers among you will relish in the number of hiking trails in the area, including the Mount Agamenticus Trail with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. This home comfortably sleeps 4 guests between a queen bed in the private bedroom and a full-size sleeper sofa in the living room. If you plan to use the sleeper sofa, just a heads-up that you'll need to move the dining table to make space for it. It's a snug setup, but it works well for small groups or families who don’t mind a tighter space. The home’s full guest bathroom includes a single vanity and a shower/tub combo. THINGS TO NOTE: • Coin-operated laundry on site. • Lot parking available for 2 vehicles. • Pool is open and heated from Memorial Day to early September. • Please note that the bathroom is located in the bedroom. Cape Neddick Beach is 2.9 miles from your door, a 6-minute drive to a charming crescent-shaped beach at the mouth of the Cape Neddick River. Where tide pools, rocky outcroppings, and river mouth views offer delightful exploration, especially at low tide. Ogunquit Beach lies 3 miles out (5-minute drive), a three-mile stretch of soft white sand nestled between the river and Atlantic Ocean, popular for swimming, sunbathing, surfing, and scenic cliffside walks along the Marginal Way. Both beaches offer summer lifeguards, public amenities, and the classic coastal charm that makes the York area shine.
