I went to the Grand Welcome with my daughter, her husband, my 13 year old grandson and my dog. The house was great for us and much bigger in real life than the pictures. There is a bedroom suite upstairs with a living room, that was perfect for me and my dog to have privacy from my daughter and family. The location is fantastic and in walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The views and sounds of the ocean from the backyard and the balconies is fabulous. We will go back for sure!!
The view is amazing! Easy walk to Long Sands beach which is beautiful and a little general store/shops to get your basics (coffee, ice cream, supplies), and also walkable to Nubble Lighthouse area which is beautiful. The house (Shore Thing) was very clean and beds were comfortable. The house is dated and the washing machine/dryer is located in basement garage which means you have to go outside, down lots of stairs with laundry, manually lift the heavy garage door to get to the machines. If mobility or strength is an issue this is a concern. Franny was very helpful and immediately responsive to my messages. When we asked for a new needed large salad bowl and new stainless steel fry pans she had them delivered by days end.
Perfect location, wonderful house
