The house is very old and dated. Does not have central Airconditioning. Wall unit on first floor for living room, dining room, and kitchen. Furniture in living room worn out and not comfortable. Dining room set old and uncomfortable, outdoor furniture old. No outdoor shade on patio, no umbrella. 2 bedroom air conditioners were broken but were replaced. Refrigerator water dispenser made horrible screeching noise so bought water bottles. Property not maintained-driveway falling apart, garage rotting. Staircase creaking and lots of noises when anyone walking upstairs or on second level. No beach towels provided so had to buy 8 towels. One bath towel per person with no extras so did a lot of laundry. Old linens and bed covers Reclining chair in main bedroom dirty and worn out Pros- Comfortable beds Equipped kitchen Hosts were responsive.
My family and I had a lovely week at this property. The house is cozy and comfortable. Details we appreciated included nice windows and natural light, great water pressure in the showers, plentiful towel hooks to hang your bath towels, effective AC units to keep the rooms cool on hot days, and a large driveway that could accommodate several cars (helpful for groups with folks traveling from multiple places). The home's location is wonderful-- a 10-minute walk to downtown Ogunquit and the Marginal Way, and 20-minute walk to Perkin's Cove. We loved being so close to restaurants, shops, and activities but a bit removed from the traffic and crowds of downtown. Would absolutely stay here again!
Adorable cottage with ample space for a large family. Easily walkable to Main St. restaurants and shops. Nice location! Fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed.
